Mozilla Firfox 2.0.0.12?

When I download this the main page is unable to connect. I uninstall and reinstall and its the same thing. WTF? I make a new shortcut and its the same thing.The latest mozilla firefox wont work... help

Uninstall Firefox from add/remove programs.

Locate Program Files Folder in your hard drive, and delete the Folder named Mozilla. Reinstall Firefox. Check out links below.

Is Firefox giving any error messages?

In your control panel - Security Center, you'll find the Microsoft firewall, or do you have one from your Anti Virus software? If your using the Microsoft Firewall, disable it in the security center and see if that gets yor Firefox to work.

In Firefox, Go to Tools, Options, Advanced Tab, Network, select settings, make sure you have Direct Connect to Internet, say OK. Restart Firefox.

Launch Firefox, go to Tools, Options, Main tab, and replace the address in the home page window.

Are you using Vista?

Check your firewall settings. It may not allow firefox access.

This can also happen even if you simply update firefox.
